The stunning lakeside community of Brandermill was the first master-planned community in greater Richmond and the only one where preservation of the natural environment gets top billing. Brandermill’s innovative design created a template for future developments, setting a high bar for others to emulate. It did not just happen. Turning a few thousand of these forested acres into an award-winning community required perseverance, vision, and a development plan that blended a love of nature with first-class resort amenities and peaceful residential neighborhoods.
