Ravencon adventure

I spent part of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday last week at Ravencon, the annual writers/gamers convention for sci-fi, fantasy, and horror enthusiasts named in honor of Edgar Alan Poe’s “Raven.” The Poe Museum had a presence, as did our crime writers group, Sisters in Crime. I contributed to three panels on writing, and was happy to do so, but I found that my mysteries, set in the Roaring Twenties, aren’t a good fit for this crowd. But it was fun to see so many attendees dressed up as favorite fictional characters. IMG_0140
