Home from Malice Domestic Conference

photoI attended my first Malice Domestic Conference in Bethesda, MD, last weekend, and a friend snapped this while I was giving a short talk about THE IMPERSONATOR. Malice is a “fan conference” which means lots of avid readers attend, and anywhere you find avid readers, you find authors and publishers. It was an eye-opening event for me–I learned a lot. Now I’m off to another conference, this one in Philadelphia where I’ll be speaking on history myths and signing copies of DEATH BY PETTICOAT.
