Finalist for Library of Virginia Literary Award

Saturday was an exciting day! A letter arrived announcing that THE IMPERSONATOR had been chosen as one of five finalists for the 2014 People’s Choice Literary Award that the Library of Virginia gives each year. Winners for fiction, nonfiction, and poetry are announced in the fall, so I have a long wait before the results are known.

About Me

I'm an Army brat who has lived in Virginia most of my adult life. I received my BA and MA in history from the College of William and Mary and taught American history and museum studies at Virginia Commonwealth University for thirteen years. I am the author of 200 magazine articles, most on history, travel, and business topics, 15 nonfiction books, and 9 historical mysteries.
