FIRST HOUSE in Final Edits Stage!

Here I am with First Lady Maureen McDonnell at the Governor’s Mansion. I was included at last week’s reception for descendants of former governors (even though none of my ancestors served as governor of Virginia). My job was to promote First House, my upcoming history of the Mansion. To that end, I was interviewed by a PBS radio station and chatted with people who have a vested interest in the book–their ancestors had once-upon-a-time lived in the Mansion.
